Getting there

The chq building, only minutes from the city centre is served by an extensive public transport network. This includes intercity trains, a fast commuter train service (DART), Dublin Bus services and a light rail network (LUAS)

Intercity Trains
One of the capital's two mainline stations are located within the Docklands area at Connolly Station for rail services to Belfast, Rosslare/Wexford and Sligo. Connolly station also serves DART and suburban train services to Howth and Ballbriggan in the north and Bray and Arklow in the south.
Direct bus services link the Docklands with Dublin's other mainline station, Heuston.

DART
Connolly Station and Tara Street Station are within five minutes' walk of the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Docklands. At peak times, the DART runs every 10 minutes. Pearse Street Station and Grand Canal Dock Station service the remainder of South Docklands.

LUAS
The chq building is also accessible by the city's commuter light rail system, the Luas. The nearest Luas stop is at Abbey Street Station, this is now the terminus for Luas Red Line services. Connolly and Busáras Luas Stops are temporarily closed and are due to re-open early Autumn 2008. This is to facilitate the on-going construction of the Luas Red Line extension to The Point.

This Luas extension is an important part of the Dublin Dockland's Development Authority's Master Plan and part of the Government's Transport 21 investment programme. Stops will be provided at George's Dock, Mayor Square, Spencer Dock and The Point. The line will terminate at the proposed The Point Stop. Journey time from Connolly to The Point will be approximately 7 minutes.
